Terms of Service

Last updated: 8 July 2026

1. Who we are

Loreon (the "Service") is an AI-assisted fiction-writing studio available at loreon.ink and app.loreon.ink. The Service is operated by Synapti AS ("Synapti", "we"), a company registered in Norway under organisation number 934 968 514, with registered address Alundamveien 54D, 0957 Oslo, Norway. You can reach us at support@loreon.ink.

These Terms govern your use of the Service. By creating an account or using the Service, you accept them.

2. The Service

Loreon provides tools for planning, drafting, validating, and adapting long-form fiction, including AI agents that generate and review text at your direction: a structured story bible, outlining, drafting modes, manuscript validation, and adaptation documents. We continuously improve the Service, and individual features may evolve over time.

3. Your account

4. Credits and payment

5. Refunds

A credit pack is refundable in full within 14 days of purchase if none of its credits have been spent. The details, including how the statutory right of withdrawal applies to digital services, are in the Refund Policy. Nothing in these Terms limits your mandatory rights under Norwegian or other applicable consumer law.

6. Your content

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

8. AI-generated content

Output produced by AI agents is generated by machine-learning models. It may be inaccurate, incomplete, or resemble other model output. Review agent output before relying on it or publishing it; you are responsible for the use you make of it.

9. Availability and changes

We work to keep the Service available and dependable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may suspend the Service temporarily for maintenance or security reasons, and we may modify or discontinue features, giving reasonable notice of material changes where practicable.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time; you can export your manuscripts beforehand. We may suspend or terminate accounts that materially breach these Terms, giving prior notice where appropriate. After account deletion, your content is deleted as described in the Privacy Policy.

11. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Synapti is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability arising out of or relating to the Service is capped at the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for gross negligence or wilful misconduct, or any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will give notice of material changes (by email or in the app) before they take effect. If you do not accept a material change, stop using the Service — and you may request a refund of your unspent purchased credits.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by Norwegian law. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the Norwegian courts with Oslo District Court as agreed venue, without prejudice to any mandatory venue or dispute-resolution rights you hold as a consumer. Consumers in Norway may also contact the Norwegian Consumer Authority (Forbrukertilsynet).
